"This is a very fun, good band. Covers of Led Zeppelin, Green Day, and
a mix from classic to modern rock."
This is the posting description for the The Orange County
Rock/Cover/Tribute Band Meetup Group as a suggested group to see.
Nice to meet you, Henry. Good band.

Thanks for the opportunity to play guitar at Jam Night at Perq's last
Thursday. The Jam Members were great and it was a pleasure to be a part
of such an entertaining event. Also, looking forward to seeing Jungle
 Juice perform at future venues.

I Saw you at the Coach House on August 4th, 2007. You guys sounded great.
I have heard you many times before, but must say sounding really
tight. Louis's Guitar Solo's were spot on! Ed was standing up during Hot Dog
by Led Zepplin, the crowd went wild! Eric's and Henry's vocals were
top notch and the harmonies were impressive. I guess all that giggin'
 really pays off!
Great job guys!!!

Louis,
Had a good time! First of all, I gotta tell you that me & my buddy were disappointed to find out you were doing Sabbath first. We were all geared up to hear Zep and figured we'd hear a little BS after, then hit the road (he had an early job the next day & I of course had work). Michelle said you guys switched so Henry could warm up his voice on BS. I can certainly understand that, cuz while some of the BS is really up there, the Zep stuff was even moreso...
Anyway, I thought you guys sounded good. Very impressive that Henry's voice held up through all of that. On the few tunes that had harmonies (Good/Bad Times, Comm Brkdown, Crazy Train), Eric did a real nice job... You weren't loud enough during the BS set, but I heard you better on Zep. Both you & Henry did nice jobs on guitar, esp the leads. Henry's Crazy Train solo was dead-on... Smokin'!
You know me, I didn't recognize half of the BS stuff. War Pigs was cool. I'm pretty sure I'd change the station if it came on the radio, but it's cool to see & hear live. And what's the song from the truck commercial? That one was good. And of course Crazy was awesome. Next time add Flying High Again!
As for the Zep, again, you know me. I dig the more commercial & melodic Zep, so Good Times, Breakdown, and Heartbreaker were awesome. But you gotta do Livin' Lovin Maid after Heartbreaker!! I, personally, don't care for the Zep stuff that sounds just like the BS c%$k rock ;-) stuff like Immigrant Song and a couple others you did (what's the one with the riff in E that occasionally does the D & A chords?), but you guys dig that stuff so I can see why you'd do it. Although I personally don't care for it, Hot Dog was real good & high energy, very entertaining live with Ed standing up & doing the shuffle beat... I don't know what the last few tunes were cuz we left before you finished, but I was hoping for something like Ramble On, or What Is And What Should Never Be. But, hey, we all have our preferences and Zep has a ton of good stuff; hard to go wrong.
Overall, you guys did great! You guys should pursue more of those gigs. Hopefully you can get back to the HOB again (did you get any feedback from them?) And you should let Michael Berton know that you do Zep and BS tribute sets. Maybe that could lead somewhere. Let him know and tell him that the guys from SoundCake saw your show and recommend you!
Later, Rob

WHAT IS UP!!! You were playing in good ol' Yuciapa for the relay for
life walk thing, me and my younger brother were the ones in the front row
screaming "Play Rush", me and my little brother have seen loads of
tribute bands, but by far your band has captured the feeling in the music
and love for it that no other band has, and we would like to say thank
you for that great show and hope that you come play near Yucaipa again,
so we can witness the greatness again.
Thanks
Bryan and Scott

Hey guys!
I see you host an open mic night at Perq's. I was just wondering, can
you please let us know how you handle this open mic. I've been to a
couple OMs where the hosts have a "favorites list' and many people that
show up don't get to play because of this list...How many songs can a
person play, when does it start, ...? Thanks guys!
Look forward to talking and jammin' later!
David!

Reply to David:
This is not an open mic - this is an open JAM!!
Jungle Juice starts at 8:30pm and plays an average 45 minute set. (Sporting events may effect start time)
Jam night works like this: You come in, you sign up, you play. We try to alternate between jam sets and bands.
First come, first served. There might be a few preferred jammers, but nothing is set in stone.
We would like more single or pairs of jammers to get more variety and spontaneity.
Jammers are usually limited to about 30 minutes. Poor performers will be stopped sooner.
But we like great music like everyone else and if you ROCK, you will get more time.
I hope this answers your question, David.
